More than 23 million live in food deserts: communities without access to grocery stores, fresh produce, and other products that are integral to a healthy lifestyle.
We saw a need.
So we teamed up with Young Family Farm, an urban farm in Kansas City. MGP knows how to harness the power of plants to maximize protein, fiber, and other key nutrients in food, so one Fall evening, we served a feast.
But combating food insecurity isn't a one-off project. So we made a sustained commitment to that community.
We transformed a shipping container into a nutritional hub, preparing monthly meal kits to feed families.
