ATCHISON, Kansas, May 23, 2013 - MGP Ingredients, Inc. (Nasdaq/MGPI) (the “Company”) adjourned its 2013 annual meeting of shareholders scheduled for today due to a lack of quorum of preferred stock shareholders. There was a quorum of common stock shareholders. The Company will provide notice in the future as to the time and place for a recommencement of the 2013 annual meeting.

Voting remains open by telephone, the Internet or mail prior to the annual meeting to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 3, 2013.
